Wearable Arts T3 2017

For Wearable Arts this year my team worked around colour. The theme was festivals around the world and we chose the Holi festival. Holi is a Hindu spring festival celebrated in India and Nepal, also known as the "festival of colour" or the "festival of love". The Holi festival runs for two days on different days of March. This celebration originated in 1933.
We decided to do Holi because of the amount of  ideas to do around colour. Our custom is mainly made out of plastic bags, newspapers and wire. For the top we shaped wire around the model ( Paris ) and then used tape around the edges to make it less sharp. Then we weaved pieces of Plastic bags around the wire. After that we added  colour to some of the butterfly's  made out of newspaper and added them on. For the skirt we ironed plastic bags together and added the colorful butterfly's
We also made a bag out of cardboard and newspaper.

I think we worked well as a group and  manged to finish the final piece on time and it has come along nicely.

I don't think there was much stuff we didn't do well I just think maybe it wasn't the best idea to change the design 3 days before the due date.

If we could restart I think I would try to stick to the same design for the whole time.
