Workbook Maths

Maths: This week we have been working on percentages like, 30% ,1%, 5% ,10% and lots more. Here is my finished work book for the week.   

Mistletoe bay camp 2018

Camp:  Last week we spent 5 days up in the Marlborough sounds at Mistletoe bay. I had an amazing time on camp and I really  enjoyed myself. Some of the things we did was, paddleboarding, archery, raft building and orienteering. We also went on a yacht trip around the sounds. There was heaps of swimming and fishing over the week. All about Bees

Topic: This week for topic we have been learning all about Bees.We had to create a google slide explaining what is the purpose of bees and what there pollen does. Here is my google slide . 

 

Food Pyramid

Topic : The last couple of weeks we have bee looking at Food pyramids. We had to make our own Pyramid with some of our favorite foods. Here is mine. 

Weekly refection W3 T1

Literacy: This week for literacy we have been working on Limerick poems. We had to create 3 google drawings and write our Limericks 1 in each . A limerick usually is a funny poem. It has to have 5 lines. The first 2 and the 5th line have to rhyme and 3 and 4 lines have to rhyme. Lines 1, 2 and 5 should have 7-10 syllables and lines 3 and 4 should have 5 - 7 syllables. Here are my three. 

W2 T1 Weekly refection

Literacy :  For the last 2 weeks for  literacy I have been working on writing acrostic poems. I managed to finish 2 poems about me or something I enjoy. Here they are. 

   

Topic : We have also been working on collages all about us. We had to pick a bunch of photos that represent us. Here is mine. 

Numeracy : This week I  have had range of different maths sheets. I have been working on multiplication of 2 digit times 2 digit numbers, subtraction with borrowing using algorithms and short division. 

Space

For the last couple of weeks we have been working on the topic space. We had 7 activities  That we had to complete. The first one we had to complete was our planet report were we had to research a planet and find as mush facts about the planet. Another one we had to do was our Astronaut gear where we had to create a google drawing and put pictures of all the things you would need in space. Some others were My travel brochure  , Alien Argument , Neil Armstrong  , Astronaut Biographies , Planet presentation .
