Mainstar - Recycled Gift

It is a drift wood mobile to hang anywhere
First i went to Cobden beach to collect the wood, then I then drilled  a hole in every piece of wood and put them on wire and added beads.

This is my recycled gift that i made for my Main star. It was to make a recycled gift to give to family or friends. I gave my gift to Mrs Clark for my main star.

mexican christmas

Celebrating Christmas in Mexico

In Mexico a lot of people take the last two weeks of December off
to spend time with family and friends. The celebration starts on the 16th December
with a celebration called las posadas, (meaning inn) which is the recreation of the journey of Mary and Joseph searching for a place to spend the night.
Friends and neighbours go from  house to house singing and looking for food and                  entertainment .When they find a family that welcomes them , they share a feast and celebrations. For children, the piñata party is the best part of las posadas where they get to take turns at hitting a piñata filled with candy and small gifts. Christmas day is a time for church and family . After church Christmas dinner begins with ox tail soup, beans and hot chilli, followed by roast turkey, fruit and vegetables. Many children receive gifts on the eve of January 5th to celebrate the 3 kings who passed through Bethlehem. Children leave there shoes on the windowsill and find gifts in them in the morning. Celebration’s ends on the 12th night, January 6th.

My myth The Loch Ness

The loch ness monster

The Loch Ness monster is a lake monster in the legends of Scotland. It is one of the most famous mysteries in the world. The monster lives in loch ness which it takes it name from but is also nicknamed Nessie. Sightings of the monster are ancient and first sightings go back to 690 AD. When a new road was built in 1930 a number of people saw sightings of the monster and reported it to the news paper.

Although there has never been a clear image the description is usually a huge body with humps that stretch up to 30 feet. The head has been described like a dragon or serpent with a long neck. It moves in the water with its head out straight and creates a big wave.
I believe it might be a plesiosaurs from the dinosaur ages what do you think ?
